Please take a minute to tell us how we can improve this site by providing comments at the CMLS Survey.

I know I have a CMLS account. When I request a password reset but don't receive an email, what can I do?

First, check your spam box.  Second, please be aware if your account has been dormant for over a year it may have been deactivated. This will require you to register. We apologize we do not tell you this on the password reset process, our security rules prevent us from doing so.

Can I use Internet Explorer?

Our website is designed to function best with Google Chrome. Unfortunately we cannot guarantee best support for other web browsers at this time.

I have extra publications, can I throw them away?

No! If you have a significant quantity of excess publications please contact CMLS at cmls@gsa.gov for instructions on how to return them.

When can I expect to receive my order?

Orders usually ship four business days after they've been received. Orders to US addresses for domestic delivery are shipped via UPS three-day service. Orders to APO/FPO and PO boxes are shipped via USPS Priority Mail and are handed over to the military for delivery 2-3 days after shipping. GSA is not able to track orders after they leave USPS custody. Typical delivery times vary between 2 and 5 weeks. Expedited shipping service is not available.

Remember, all publications are available in the convenient PDF format. Please use electronic versions of publications whenever possible to promote sustainability and access information immediately.

Publications ship from a contracted warehouse operated by the Government Publishing Office (GPO) in Pueblo, Colorado.

I have used my account in the past but now I can't log in. What's wrong?

We have made an update to our system that automatically adds the ".gsacommunity" extension to your username. Please log in with only your email address in the username field (i.e. john.doe@gsa.gov).

Additionally, if your account has been dormant for over one year, it has been removed from our database. Please register a new account. We appologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

If your issues persist, please contact our support team.

How do I reset my CMLS password?

If you are not currently logged in, you may use the "Forgot Password" link on the home page cmls.gsa.gov which prompts a password reset process by sending a password reset link to the email address associated with the account.

How can I order publications for a third party?

CMLS does not support orders placed by one person to a different person and location. You will not be allowed to complete the order to an address other than your own address on cmls.gsa.gov.

To order publications to a third person or location, there are 2 options:

1. Email cmls@gsa.gov to place an order.  Please note that Fleet publications cannot be requested by anyone other than GSA Fleet representatives. Do not have a vendor call to place an order.

2. GSA.gov employees can place third party orders through GSA CRM.  This requires a Salesforce Customer Engagement Organization (SF CEO) account and the CMLS Customer Service permission set. Your Fleet SF Champion can put in the ticket to establish this access..With the account and permission set, SF CEO can be accessed through Chrome using SSO at fas.my.salesforce.com. The CMLS application is in the pull down application list in the top right corner. For instructions, or help on ordering call or email ncsccustomer.service@gsa.gov.
